Atypical & Awesome “Choices Matter”

This week has been hard and Phillip is treating me to a much needed weekend get-away. I’m currently poolside under an umbrella at Orange Beach. We’ll have seafood tonight and he’s booked a sunset dolphin cruise for us. Tomorrow, we’re going to brunch at a place I’ve wanted to try. He spoils me. But we both pour into our relationship and the life we have built togerher.

Choices matter. The people you align yourself with matter. My parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this week. Their lives have not been easy but they will say they have had good lives. They made strong, solid choices early on to ensure us girls and our families had secure lives. Choices matter.

I am no longer allowing people into my circle who do not elevate me. I charge money for my time professionally and my time is sacred. Every decision leads to the next decision. Choices matter. If you are negative and manipulative I will choose to not engage with you. I choose to make good, solid relationships a priority. Today, I will choose between a strawberry or pineapple Dole Whip.
