Atypical & Awesome “Funny Girls and Moms”

Whew! The Funny Girls Comedy Show at Benji’s Cafe was a stellar success! All tables were reserved and the place was packed. The funny girls were all fantastic and I am so humbled and honored to have been a part of such an incredible event. There’s already talk of more all-female comedy events soon!

Today has been a sweet and relaxing Mother’s Day. I’ve received sweet texts, flowers, and gifts. We went to visit my parents so that was nice. It’s been a much needed chill day.

I’ve been working hard in my grad school classes and I have only one assignment left to be completely done for this term. It won’t be long until I’ll have my first year (out of two) behind me. I think I can, I think I can,
