Atypical & Awesome “Sweet Times and a Can of Worms”

We had a sweet time celebrating my sweet nephew’s birthday today. Pizza, cake, and lots of hugs. Feeling very blessed tonight!

Also, in the sweet news department, my buddy and frequent cowriter, Drew Taylor hit 1 million streams on apple music with his single , “Waiting on Love”. So proud for Drew- he has worked really hard for rhis- go check him out!

i will be participtaing in a few events this month. On Tuesday, Aug.10, i will be doing a poetry reading at the Wiregrass Museum of Art’s Open-Mic Write Night at 6 pm. At the end of the month (the last Friday), I plan to share a few songs at Hoobler Music’s Open Mic as well. Stop by if you are in the area. And one more thing….

Last night, I finally did it. I opened that mental can of worms I have been holding onto. I started “it”. The book. The one I know is in me. I cracked open the lid. It’s gonna hurt, I may bleed but it’s happening. Finally.
