Atypical & Awesome “Sunday Vibes and Monday Morning Rainbows”

Yesterday, was church, blue jeans, and fried chicken. Then, Alice and I met Dennis Powell for a writing session. Four hours, 2 cherry limeades, and a few bowls of tortellini soup later we had a pretty damn good song. In fact , that makes 2 new songs for Alice and I in the past couple of days. Stay tuned for “Tennessee Baby” (Nelson, Bennett) and “Here Comes the Rain” (Nelson, Bennett, Powell). I’m currently watching the ACM’s- can’t help but wonder what the future might hold. After all, I saw a rainbow on my way to work this morning. A Monday morning rainbow- felt like a little God wink saying- hold on girl, wait and see what I have planned next.
