Atypical & Awesome “Sweet Things”

Saturday and Sunday have been filled with sweetness-

-a bubble bath and finally using that doughnut shaped bath bomb I’ve been holding onto for over a year

• speaking of doughnuts- grocery store bakery doughnuts topped with real chocolate icing

• long conversations with my adult kids

• Siittin’ time with Sapphire- (her favorite, sitting on a blanket on my lap in my recliner)

• Painting my toenails and giving myself a facial

• Coloring in an adult coloring book and using messy magic markers

• Singing in the choir at church after being off for a few weejs

• Sitting by my husband and holding his hand while we pray in church

• Three different kinds of soup in the crock pot and peanut butter cookies and red velvet cake for dessert

• Celebrating victories for our kids- each excelling in different ways

• Taking a coconut cake to my father who turns 81 on Tuesady

• Visiting with my mother and sister

  Nothing ground-breaking but all soul filling. Life is sweet- indulge every now and then.
