Atypical & Awesome “Home Sweet Home”

Phillip and I are home after our weeklong trip to Orange Beach. We had a great trip but are glad to be home. It’s back to the grind. I have a cowrite later today and also got a great worktape from Jessida Lavallee of a song we worked on right before we left called, “This Way”. Jessica wanted to write a very traditional “hurtin” song as a homage to Loretta Lynn. Check it out on her social media pages as well as mine- we’re really pleased with how it turned out.

It’s gonna be a busy but fun week as we get back in the groove. We have lots of seasonal events coming up AND my girl is coming home from NY for a couple of weeks- woohoo! I’m a happy mama!
