Atypical & Awesome “Now that Was Fun”

So, yesterday I experienced my first time on a pontoon. It was an absolute blast! Phillip and I hosted nine teenagers (two of our own plus seven) for a sleepover in Saturday night and then a 5:45 am departure on Sunday to head to Panama City for our pontoon rental. Phillip worked so hard to make this happen so props to him. It was a beautiful day. While it was busy with it being Memorial Day weekend, I enjoyed seeing all the watercraft- pontoons, chartered boats, jet skis, sail boats, and even a para-sailor . We bought ice cream treats from an ice cream boat and made sandwiches aboard our pontoon. The kids swam, went down the slides, jumped off the top, and a few even swam to shore and explored. It was a great cherry on top of Michael’s graduation weekend. Today is Memorial Day and we plan to have a quiet day of refection. We are counting our many blessings and recognizing sacrifice today.
