Atypical & Awesome “St. Pat’s and Sunday”
Yesterday, I worked parent visitation at work. The wind was awful so I had been up off and on throughout the night so I was groggy. Phillip met me downtown after work and we watched “The World’s Smallest St. Pat’s Parade” while we sipped on coffee from the Coffee Corner- one of the many new coffee shops downtown. We had lots of sweet family time this weekend. Alex is home from college for Spring Break. We had a quick lunch with my parents and sister today and got to spend a little time with niece who also is on her spring break from college. She spent the first part of her break in NYC with Autumn so she had lots to tell us. I made sone chicken stew in the crock pot with “well-done” biscuits (shhhh). My youngest older sister brought us a homemade peanut butter cup cheesecake. We have been watching a marathon of 80’s movies and I’m sipping hot tea with Sapphire in my lap. Autumn is blossoming in NYC, Michael has prom this week and will graduate high school in a couple of months, Alex graduates college in May with a computer science engineering degree, and Reagan is doing great. Sarah is rocking as a travel nurse and Quinn is the most wonderful 3 year old. We are so beyond blessed.
