Atypical & Awesome “No Sleep Til Brooklyn”

What a day! The flight from Nashville to New York was much better. We enjoyed the scenery and even flew over snow which was pretty cool (literally). We rode in a yellow taxi and had NY pizza for the first time from a quirky little eatery called Public Display of Affection. We got Autumn settled in her apartment in Brooklyn and did a quick walk around her new neighborhood. Once we got back to our hotel, Autumn texted us to tell us she had just found out she and her college cohort had won an advertising award back in Alabama for a project they submitted in the spring. Wow- best in show! What a day!
*addendum- everyone has been extremely polite- cab drivers, restaurant workers, people in passing, etc which has been a nice surprise
