Atypical & Awesome “Made for Manhattan”

Friday was all about Manhattan. Autumn took the day off and joined us for a day of frivolity. We hit Times Square and did the obligatory selfies. Phillip and I recorded a reel- check it out on Facebook:) Reagan’s mission was to shop so Phillip, Michael, and I camped out under the Coke sign while Reagan and Autumn hit up the three story Forever 21 and a few other stores. We then progressed to 5th Avenue, the Rockefeller Center (Tiffany’s and Kate Spade!). We had an adventure finding a public restroom but after touring the Rockefeller Center we found them. We also grabbed pretzels and ice cream floats from a street vendor and enjoyed them in front of St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

We travelled on (walked!) as the girls wanted coffee so we stopped in a coffee shop where Phillip downed two shots of espresso- lol We then ventured on to Bryant Park which is adorable! As we made our way back to Times Square, Reagan stopped in a few more places to shop, We passed NBC, The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, and Radio City Music Hall among countless other noteworthy places and sights.

We had dinner reservations at Broadway and Terrace which overlooks Times Square. We ate there last year as well and the view is spectacular. We had some nice pizza and took the 45 mon subway ride back to Autumn’s apartment. Once there, I divided up a black and white cookie I had purchased at the Bagel Pub earlier in the week for everyone to try. A black and white cookie was on my list of things to try this trip and it did not disappoint.

We had sooo many adventures this week. I have a few more stories to tell- stay tuned :) Ohhhh, I almost forgot! One thing Michael had requested was sushi. Friday for lunch before we ventured to Manhattan we had AMAZING Japanese food in Brooklyn at Sushi Tatsu- omg. Will definitely add this one to our “regular” list, Okay, check in later to hear about Saturday and other tales!
