Atypical & Awesome “Victories”

Today is about self-care and claiming the victories! I am taking the day off from the day gig for a much needed mental health day. I am insanely excited (pun intended).

Okay, the victories:

Jessica Lavallee’s, “Small Town Girl” is #1 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown this week! 100 songs are on the countdown and she’s #1!!!! Jessica cowrote this single with her dad, Terry Lavallee and me. I could not be prouder!

Michael won 2nd place and an Honorable mention for his entries in the Piney Woods Art Festival over the weekend!!!

Alex finished their LAST college assignment Wednesday night and has officially completed their Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at The University of Alabama! Graduation is tomorrow and my mom heart is swelling with pride!

I am OWNING these victories! Life has been overwhelming and there have been times I did not think we’d make it. I am savoring these morsels and have nothing but gratitude for those who helped make these reality.
