Blue Plate Blog 30 Days of Peace Days 25 and 26
Yesterday, was rough. I woke up not feeling well. I went to work and took cold medicine once there. I then watched an online training video on trauma for six hours. It was grueling. I grabbed dinner for the kids on the way home and was in bed by 6 pm. My body said- STOP. So, I did. Peace tip for yesterday- if your body says, “stop” by all means stop. I am really being reminded of this and it can be hard. I had grand plans last night and had an opportunity I had to pass on. But-I listened to my body and today I feel much better. Today’s peace tip is to let some things go if it is necessary for self- preservation. Enjoy life, take chances, but also balance it with healthy doses of rest and restoration.
