Atypical & Awesome “String Lights and Apple Crisp Coffee”

Yesterday, my Autumn turned 24 in NYC. She is living the life and my heart is bursting with excitement for her. I know we aren’t supposed to live vicariously through our kids- but I am 100%. I am so proud of all our kids. We have had so many adventures and so many adventures yet to come.

We decorated a little over the weekend. Autumn and Halloween decor is a big deal around here. I get free reign of the inside and Phillip gets free reign of the outside. He’s an animatronic graveyard kind of guy and I am a string light and pumpkin kind of girl. It works for us.

I’m sipping on apple crumb doughnut coffee this morning. Autumn told me about an apple crisp cold brew she had the other day. Apple coffees must be the thing this year. I’m here for it. One day, I want to go to a for-real apple orchard. That’s actually on my bucket list. I think the closest ones are in north Georgia- hmmm.

Well, today is my niece, sweet Caroline and my sister, Melinda’s birthday. We have four “girl” birthdays in September in our immediate family-lol. We are a Sapphire filled crew. Even our shifty Siamese is named Sapphire- lol. Three birthday’s in 2 days- tis the season!
