Atypical & Awesome “Lovey, Dovey, and Margaritas”

Ch-ch-changes. I am settling into my new role at work but living between two offices currently (and maybe 3 by the end of the week). We have had lots of sweet family time including taking the sixteen year old (and her boyfriend) out for Indian food and then to an arcade. For Valentine’s, Phillip spoiled me as always. Flowers, candy, and really good Italian takeout that we have eaten off of all weekend.

Rehearsals for “Escape to Margaritaville” are going well and we moved onto the “real” stage yesterday. The props look great and we are excited to see it all come together. We had a little celebratory get together, yesterday. We are just a couple of weeks away from showtime. We’re almost there!

Phillip made it to Tuscaloosa for the Alabama-Auburn basketball game. I opted to stay home and enjoyed some quiet, down time while watching, “The Sound of Music” in its entirety. The older I get the more I really appreciate these moments.

Well, it sure is Monday and I have a full day of work and rehearsals lined up. I hope you have a beautiful day- it has turned cold here so time to find a sweater!
