Atypical & Awesome “Work, Play, Work- on Loop”
There is no busy like holiday busy- especially, when you work in mental health. I am grinding! This week on top of an insane week at work, we had our company Christmas party Thursday night AND I had a comedy show at Rumors. That was a fun “juggling” night lol Last night, I participated in open-mic at Hoobler Music where I showcased an updated version of, “There’s A Star” which I originally wrote four years ago. Tomorrow, I have an audition for a musical. It just never ends!
Things are busy but sweet. Phillip is getting ready to head to North Carolina for several days and then, Autumn flies in from NYC at the end of the week. I am taking off some much needed time the week of Christmas to enjoy family time. I already have mocktail recipes and appetizers on standby.
Wherever you are this holiday season, please know that you are loved. It can be a hard time of year and we can often feel lonely or “less-than”. You are a gift and a blessing. May the spirit of the season fill you with peace. As always, thank you for being part of my life.
