Atypical & Awesome “Write Night and Nashville”

Last night, I participated in the Wiregrass Museum of Art’s Write Night. I will try to post a video later but I presented seven poems I have written- five in the theme of summer and two in theme of loss/healing. It is always a pleasure to share my creative fruits with kindred spirits. I think I have participated in 5 of the Write nights now- 3 in-person and 2 on-line. It is a cool quarterly event- if you are local, stop by next time!

My girl, Alice Nelson perfprmed 2 of our cowrites- “Girlfriend” and “Downlow” at the Commodore Grill tonight in Nashville. It’s always nice to have my songs performed in Music City:) Alice is really growing as a writer and perforner. “Girlfriend” releases to radio and all streaming platforms Sept.10!
