Atypical & Awesome “My Place”

So, it only took 49 years but I’m starting to find my place in this world. I am a hybrid of many things and to quote McDonald’s, “I’m lovin’ it”. Some folks don’t get me and never will but some do. Those are my people- my wonderfully dysfunctional functional tribe and I love every one of you.

So, I have more events and coolness to share with you (literally). First up, the big PB&J Poetry Fest is THIS Saturday in Atlanta at Bibliotech Books! It will be a full day of poetry complete with sign language from Hands in Motion thanks to a sponsorship from Cynthia Baer Real Estate. i will be performing several of my poems at 6 pm EST and will even add a little piano pizzazz to one of another’s performer’s set. Stop by to find out who!

Speaking of cool, while Phillip and I will be on Hotlanta, Autumn will be on a plane headed to Iceland! I mean, that is cool for real! I’m so excited for her and hope she has a wonderful time and gets to see the Northern Lights 💙 Oh, to be young!

Also, I was invited to be on Pan Orea’s online show, “Girl Talk in the City” on May 11 at 8 pm on youtube and FB Live. A panel of ladies will chat about the movie, “Pretty Woman”- a movie I watched hundreds of times in high school. What fun do be sure to tune in!

A week from tonight is “”Comedy and Cocktails” at Happy Times in Ozark. Come have one or three of their sculpted drinks and laugh with us for a bit. The fun starts at 7 pm!
