Atypical & Awesome “Sun-day and Meh-Day”

Sunday morning, Phillip and I hit the road early to pick Autumn up from my parents’ house and take her to the airport in PCB. It’s always hard saying goodbye, but I would not take Autumn’s experiences in NYC from her for anything. She is truly living THE life. I am so incredibly proud of Autumn and Alex- they both are shining bright like diamonds 💎💎

Since it was early, Phillip and I hit the beach. It was shortly after 8 am when we arrived so we were able to get in a few hours of “salt water therapy” before it got unbearably hot. When we left, it was 100 degrees and the pavement cooked our bare feet- yikes!

Phillip treated me to lunch at my favorite beach eatery- Pineapple Willy’s. I love eating on the beach and their Caribbean salad is one of my favorite things ever. It’s really nice to be close enough to the beach for day trips. In a few weeks, we are having a little weekend getaway to Orange Beach so I’m looking forward to that as well.

Monday and Tuesday were “meh” as we got back into our grooves. We had a lot of typical life chaos and drama so I sure hope today is calmer. I am clearing my mind and filling it with new inspiration as I embark on my next creative journey. I am closing some doors and stepping into brand new rooms. Pray for courage as I move forward- the best is yet to be.
