Atypical & Awesome “So, Saturday”

Saturday. It was all behind me. Autumn was here visiting from the big city so she and I headed to Montgomery to visit Alex and let Autumn’s check out Alex’s new apartment. While en route, we stopped at Sweet Creek Farm Market- one of our favorite places to peruse. They had live music which I think was a great touch.

Per recommendation from a friend, the three of us had brunch at Bubbly Hen. It was really good! Alex ordered the fried green tomato BLT, Autumn got an eggs benny with tomato gravy that was fantastic, and I opted for chicken and waffles with a side of gouda grits- YUM! We had a sweet visit and it was really special having my Taylor Tots together with me.

Autumn and I headed back to Enterprise and despite being tired, we had family movie day. The boys went to see “Oppenheimer” and the girls went to see “Barbie”. I thought it was cute with some punchy satirical moments. I actually would see it again. The biggest take I got from the whole experience is it is a good bonding moment for moms and daughters to conversate and spend time with each other. That is a good thing.

Sunday’s update will be featured soon but for now have an excellent Tuesday, everyone. Check out a brand new song written by Jessica Lavallee and myself, “Let’s Ride” : https://youtu.be/x04-tDafRgA
