Atypical & Awesome “Now THAT was Fun”

Last night, I had the honor of being a part of a writer’s panel at the Dothan/ Houston County Library and boy, was it s blast. I was a little worried about the weather as it was rainy and windy on my drive over to Dothan. The turnout was good given the inclement weather. Ashley Bynum with the library did such a good job putting it all together. It was catered with a beautiful and bountiful Mexican buffet. She had strategically gathered a diverse panel including authors, a journalist, a poet, and myself representing the songwriting and blogging world. We answered questions and “talked shop” for a couple of hours and then networked and mingled. I was gifted with several books from a few of the authors and everyone who wanted one left with one of my business cards. It was a success :) I look forward to doing more of these events in the future :
