Atypical & Awesome “Open-Mic and Day Off”

Last night, I participated in a really sweet festive and fun Open- Mic at Hoobler Music here in town. The open-mic is very supportive and many of us have been coming to the open-mic for years so it has turned into a family. I performed, “Santa Came Early this Year” a new Christmas song I wrote a couple of weeks ago. We sang together, laughed together, and just had a good time. I highly encourage any one wanting to cut their performance teeth come be a part of it- all skill levels are welcome.

Today ended up being an unplanned “chill day”. I got doughnuts and other treats for us and the whole family stayed in all day. It’s been rainy so we’ve hunkered down and watched Christmas movies. Phillip put out his Christmas village which we all enjoy. We have had a much needed low-key day.
