Atypical & Awesome, “Done and Time for Fun”

Oh, the joy I feel this morning! I am officially done with year one of two of my MSW program! Yesterday, I completed my practicum which wrapped up 9 weeks of 72 hour work weeks! I feel like I should be singing “Climb Every Mountain” from “The Sound of Music” lol i have achieved something huge- especially given my health and my day job, Whew!

Saffy and I are having coffee and candle time before the rest of the house gets up. We have a big day planned. Autumn and I are going to Montgomery to see Alex for a late birthday brunch. Then this afternoon, we are going to the movies as a family. In the morning, Phillip and I will take Autumn back to the airport. It has done my heart good to see her and it will do my heart good to see Alex.

Next week will feel a little different. We will be adapting to a “new normal” once again. But, life is a never-ending journey for us with lots of twists and turns. We are blessed, though- overwhelmingly so.

Having said that, now that practicum is behind me stay tuned for new events and bookings coming up. Also, I am taking appointments for consultations. $50 for a two hour consult about writing, career planning, time management, goal setting, tapping into creativity or other general needs. I look forward to hearing from you!
